PCC is committed to being a prophetic voice for compassion and justice in the world. We hear the cry resounding in the words of the Old Testament prophets and in the life and ministry of Jesus. While we are passionately committed to bringing more of the fullness of Jesus to our own community, our vision is to make known Christ's peace to people, our region, and the nations. As followers of Jesus Christ we believe we cannot ignore global issues. Jesus commissioned us to go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19). Through the calling of Jesus and the leading and empowering of the Holy Spirit, we have a part to play in the healing of the nations (Revelation 22:2).
This includes: - supporting young girls in PCC raising money to build orphanages for children of Aids victims in Uganda through Watota - raising money to support the 40 Hour Famine through World Vision - participating in the Don't Trade Lives campaign to stop child trafficking, and
- supporting the work of Micah Challenge in urging the leadership of developed nations to maintain their commitment Any current PCC events/activities will be dvertised on our latest news page. www.watoto.com www.worldvision.com.au www.micahchallenge.org.au
