Daphne Austin

Hello, I’m Daphne.  Most days you will find me down at Peace Counselling Centre, where I serve as Director. Bruce, my husband, and I, both have a heart to connect with the wider community, Bruce being a coastguard volunteer skipper and myself, seeking to share God’s healing and peace through counselling, prayer, training or support. We have three married sons, three beautiful daughters (in-law), and two wonderful grandchildren.

The vision of Peace comes alive for me, when I see someone come alongside another, supporting and sharing God’s love in meaningful ways, to those in need.  Peace’s vision, coming alive through action.

My heart is to see people, supported, equipped and released to achieve their fullest potential, all that God delights for them to have, and in that, know His heart for them to receive His love.

When I am not working, I love walking, beaches, the bush, or yes, like many on our team, sitting with a friend and having a good coffee.
