David Taylor

Hey there!  My name is David & it it an enormous privilege for me to be a part of the Peace Christian Community.  I am married to Barbara who is the Nurse Manager of an Intensive Care Unit & we have 3 sons:  Joshua who is 19, Aaron who is 15 & Ben who is 14.  Yes, having a family dominated by males can be a bit of a chore for poor Barbara, but she seems to manage us boys quite well.

I have a heart for the whole church of Jesus Christ of which PCC is one part.  It is exciting to be a part of a group of God's people who are not just coming together to build another congregation distinct from every other Christian local congregation.  There is the one heart to be a part of the larger Kingdom of God expressed through many local Christian congregations & having an impact on the local community.  I am a fulltime Funeral Celebrant and have the honour of walking alongside people of many different backgrounds as they farewell a loved one. 

In my spare time (if any!), I love to read, be at home &, of course,with 3 teenage sons, be involved with their many activities.  When Barbara and I can steal some time for ourselves, one of our local coffee shops becomes our favourite haunt!
