Kid's Hope is a World Vision Mentoring program aimed at creating a positive impact in the lives of Australian children.  The model is built on a long-term partnership between local churches & primary schools, where a caring adult from the church spends one hour each week with a child.  The results can change lives.

Mentors are security checked & must complete a training program which includes child protection policies, understanding children's needs & developmental stages.

PCC has recently entered into a partnership with Scarborough State School, and has 10 trained mentors from the PCC community, supported by another 10 prayer partners, ready to serve in this way.  We are currently finalising organisational arrangements with the school.  Once we are underway, we will be offering training for additional mentors and prayer partners.

This is a great way in which we can make known Christ's peace within our local schools.
