Wednesday GatheringsWednesday Gatherings at PCC begin at 7pm. Like Sunday Gatherings, Wednesday Night Gatherings are more than a worship service - the are community. Worship is relaxed and infomal. Teaching is interactive. The emphasis is on body ministry: the flow of the gifts of the Spirit is encouraged, based on 1 Corinthians 14:26-32. On the 1st, 2nd & 5th Wednesday nights, the format is one of informal worship and teaching. There is plenty of opportunity to interact, or you can just listen and take it in. On the 3rd Wednesday of the month we share coffee and dessert and communion. Worship happens around the table, as we pray and share stories of God's work in our life. The fourth wednesday night of each month is set aside for workshops in topics and issues that we all face. This is a great night to invite those who may not be part of church life. Again, as with our Sunday Gatherings, Wednesday Night Gatherings are like base camp, where the body gathers to worship, minister to one another, and be equipped to be Church in our spheres of influence in the world - family, work, and community. |
